How to fight Psoriasis
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease, which affects the skin and joints. However, it affects skin the most by turning it red, scaly and itchy. Unfortunately, there is no control for psoriasis but it can be controlled by using some common treatments. Following is the list of such common treatments, prepared by the National Psoriasis Foundation that may help controlling psoriasis:
• Using ointments and creams along with salicylic acid and topical steroids may help controlling psoriasis.
• Use of light therapy, including lasers and UVB is also quite effective in controlling psoriasis.
• Lotions, bath solutions, including other nonprescription topical preparations also help lessening symptoms of psoriasis by reducing scaliness.
